Paraffin baths have evolved from simple paraffin filled vessels to modern standalone systems which are nowadays used for the most varied applications that require sample incubation at a constant temperature. Temperature control options range from advanced microprocessor controlled systems to classic analog control of heating power. Some paraffin baths may even have an additional stirring or shaking mechanism to aid the distribution of heat. Paraffin baths are available in different sizes to satisfy the specific needs of each customer.
