Anatomy involves the study of the structure of animals and their parts. Human anatomy is one of the essential sciences of medicine. There are two types of anatomy – microscopic and macroscopic. Macroscopic anatomy is performed using unaided eyesight and mostly requires various cutting and object manipulation tools like scalpels and forceps as well as modern imaging equipment, such as x-ray, ultrasound and MRI machines.
