Sand bath
Description
Sand baths are one of the oldest known pieces of laboratory equipment, having been used by the alchemists. Electrical sand baths, whether with or without variable temperature control and with or without a thermostatic controller are ideal for irregular vessels. These heating devices allow high temperature uniform heating that is unattainable by more commonly used water or oil baths. Robust construction with aluminum alloy hotplate allows to achieve excellent continuous performance.
